About FlyteCo
It all started in 2008 when the gift of a home-brewing kit turned into an obsession. Jason and Eric quickly realized that in order to start a successful business they needed someone who had the sales skills that they lacked. Enter Morgan. In 2013, Morgan and Eric became next-door neighbors.
Their mutual passions for beer and sharing good times with others ignited the afterburners on what would become FlyteCo Brewing in 2019. Since then, the brewery has added a coffee shop and bagel eatery, 15 more taps and a number of awards, including a silver medal for the FlyteCo Marzen Copter and bronze medal for the P-38 Pumpkin Porter at the 2021 Brewski Awards.
In 2022, FlyteCo digging into aviation roots, secured the space at the bottom of the defunct Stapleton air traffic control tower in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood….
About the Tower
Stapleton International Airport shutdown in 1995 when Denver International Airport opened.
The 164-foot air traffic control tower and its three-story building at its base is one of the last remaining reminders of Denver’s first airport.
While the current Central Park neighborhood started to develop and build around the control tower starting in the early 2000’s, the tower itself sat vacant until 2017 when it was developed into a restaurant space, operating through the first weeks of the 2020 pandemic.
FlyteCo is very proud to take over the base building to open FlyteCo Tower in August 2022.
